Our Lace Leather is a medium-weight, 5- to 6-ounce, and approximately 1/8-inch thick top-grain leather that is domestically tanned and made in the USA. This is not a soft garment leather but rather a chrome-tanned leather with a strong, firm hand that is matte in finish, not shiny. The leather has a smooth surface on one side and is slightly sueded on the other, showcasing its nice natural markings and character. The color of this leather is a bright cherry red.

We have been using this lace leather product for years in the creation of our straps and leather specialties. This material is ideal for a wide range of applications, including coasters, mouse pads, desk pads, key fobs, collars, wristbands, lacing, strapping, scout projects, repairs, and crafts.
